The rules for sharing with YURL.

Permitted use

Only share lawful content that you are authorized to use. Phishing, malware, spam, fraud and impersonation are not allowed. Do not put secrets or sensitive data in URLs.

Tools without registration

Static QR codes contain the entered URL or text directly: they do not use YURL redirects, have no YURL scan statistics and their content cannot be changed after download. They do not expire under the Free plan policy; the destination website must still remain available. The UTM builder prepares an address and does not activate analytics services by itself. These tools do not perform security scans of the content.

Pro and Plus

Pro and Plus are upcoming plans and cannot yet be purchased. Full terms, quotas and renewal rules will be available before activation.

The Free plan

You get 25 URLs in your workspace, 1,000 redirects per month and up to 100 monthly creations. Archived URLs do not use a slot. Counts include successful opens, including automated previews, and do not represent unique people.

Free personal page

One page on yurl.page per account, with a photo, bio and up to 3 links. Publication requires a confirmed email and at least one button. The nickname cannot change after the first save and is not automatically reassigned. Pages have no monthly renewals: make yours private from the dashboard. Page views and clicks are separate from short URL redirects, are subject to abuse limits and do not represent unique people.

short URL lifetime, renewals and name reuse

30 days of validity for each new URL, with up to 3 renewals of 30 days. Renewals require confirmation from your dashboard and can be requested in the final 7 days of validity, or within 15 days after expiry.

At expiry, the URL and QR stop redirecting. If you do not renew on time, the URL is archived and its alias becomes available: someone else may use it for a different destination. Old URLs and QR codes could then open their content. Manually deleted URLs and URLs blocked for abuse keep their names reserved.

Account

Email confirmation is required to activate and renew URLs. Keep your password secure. Export your data or delete your account from the dashboard.

Moderation

You can report a suspicious URL without an account. URLs may be suspended for security reasons or rule violations.
